I was up for a bit of adventure today, right before sunset, so took a drive out to the Yarmouth Lighthouse. The weather has been cool and extremely windy, so I thought I'd be able to catch some waves. I have a picture of the lighthouse on here from awhile back. I was standing right by the buildings at the top of the rock and getting soaking wet from the waves crashing against the rocks and splashing over me. It was cool, but eery too. I didn't trust the waves to stay put and got out of there before I was swept out to sea.

My Shack

My "apartment building" on the corner of Porter and Main St. houses 8 apartments and one laundry room. My apartment is the on the top floor, right hand side. I have two entrances - this one is off my living room.
My apartment on the top again. The siding covered add-on is my main entrance. The parking lot here belongs to The Rodd/Grand Hotel - which is right next door.
The view from my front deck. You can see a little bit of harbour there if you look past the buildings.
Here is my tiny kitchen/entrance, without a table and chairs (should be getting that any day now).
The Living Room - and my lovely futon (doubles as the guest bed).
Another view of the living room. The two doors lead to the bedrooms/office.
And that's it - my tiny place! It seems to be working out alright for now...
Fall On the East Coast
Time is flying by out here - I've been here over 4 months already. I'll try to keep this blog updated with photos of whatever's going on.
Here is the Yarmouth Light - about 20 minutes from town along a winding road.
My last visitors were my highschool pal, Nicole, and her fiance, Shane. They came out October 7.
Here I'm in Bar Harbour, Maine, with Carmen and baby Anthony. Nicole, Shane, and I took the Cat ferry from Yarmouth over to visit Carmen and Tony for a couple days.
This is the world's largest cruise ship - docked at Bar Harbour. (Can't remember it's name Queen something...)
Here's Anthony jr. giggling away.
Carmen took us for a tour of U of Maine - where she received her nursing degree on a volleyball scholarship.
Nicole and Shane and pretty trees.
